The Paech Family
Beerenberg is a fully family owned and operated Australian business.
Fifth generation Grant Paech and wife Carol are the founders of Beerenberg Farm. Grant studied at Roseworthy Agricultural College and in 1960 he returned to help his father run the family dairy farm. When he and Carol inherited the property in 1969, they continued dairying whilst experimenting with growing strawberries for the fresh produce market. One day, they had a surplus of strawberries and decided to make some jam. This rest is history.
Grant and Carol’s eldest son, Anthony Paech, was appointed Managing Director of Beerenberg in 1998. He has since led the family business through a period of strong international growth whilst maintaining the home-style ethos that has become the hallmark of Beerenberg’s success.
Son Robert Paech has been Farm Manager since 1992. He oversees all aspects of the farm, including planting, tending and harvesting the crops that provide the freshest fruit and vegetables for Beerenberg’s extensive range of products.
Sally Paech, Grant and Carol’s daughter, looks after the marketing side of the business, including promotional and publicity activities as well as the management of Beerenberg’s website.
We value and acknowledge Our Heritage as we work together to continue the proud traditions that have been established at Beerenberg Farm since 1839.
