Beerenburgers

Ingredients (Makes 6-8):

  • 1 tsp Beerenberg Crushed Garlic

  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

  • 1 egg, lightly beaten

  • 1 cup fresh breadcrumbs

  • 6 - 8 hamburgers buns

  • 1/2 cup Beerenberg Tomato Sauce

  • 500g lean beef mince

  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped

  • Tomato, beetroot, pineapple, avocado, lettuce, cheese, bacon, egg


Method:

  1. In a bowl combine the minced beef, onion, garlic, parsley, Tomato Sauce, egg and breadcrumbs. Season to taste and mix well.

  2. Mould into 6-8 even shaped burgers.

  3. Barbecue or pan-fry the burgers for around 5 - 7 minutes each side, turning only once.

  4. Serve the burgers on the hamburger bun with your favourite salad ingredients. Top with a generous serve of either Beerenberg Tomato Sauce or Beerenberg Barbecue Sauce.
