Spicy Mango Meatballs
Ingredients (Serves 4):
1/2 cup Beerenberg Mango Jam
400g pork or lamb mince
1 onion, finely chopped
2 tsp Beerenberg Crushed Garlic
2 tsp ginger, grated
Fresh or dried chilli, to taste
1 tbs light soy sauce
1 cup breadcrumbs
1 egg, lightly beaten
Dipping Sauce
1/4 cup Beerenberg Mango Jam
2 tbs Beerenberg Sweet Chilli Relish
1 tbs soy sauce
1 tbs water
Method:
For the meatballs, combine all ingredients (except oil) in a bowl. Mix well with hands and form into small balls.
Heat oil and cook meatballs 3-4 minutes or until cooked through and brown. Serve as an appetiser with dipping sauce.
For the dipping sauce, combine all ingredients and microwave for 30-60 seconds, stir well.
