Takatala Mince

Ingredients:

  • 250g Pork or Beef Mince

  • 1 small onion chopped

  • 2 small potatoes - peeled and chopped

  • 1-2 tbs cooking oil

  • 1 slice of bread

  • 1 tomato chopped

  • 30ml of water

  • 1/2 cup of boiling water

  • 2 medium carrots - peeled and grated

  • 3 tbs Takatala Marinade

  • Salt and Pepper to taste

 

Method:

  1. Heat oil in frying pan, add onion and fry until golden brown.

  2. Add mince and fry until cooked through. 

  3. Soak bread in water then crumble with a fork into the meat mixture. 

  4. Add rest of ingredients, stir, bring to boil and simmer for 30 mins. 

  5. Stir occasionally.
