Toffee Strawberries

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup white loaf sugar

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 punnet Beerenberg strawberries


Method:

  1. Wash and thoroughly dry strawberries. Leave stalk on strawberries. Boil the sugar and water until brittle stage. (To test  place a little mixture in a glass of cold water). Dip strawberries in toffee mixture coating well.  Serve immediately.

  2. You can leave these in the refrigerator if needed for a couple of hours before serving.
